Deadly Crocodiles of the Nile River - Nature Documentary The Nile crocodile has a somewhat deserved reputation as a vicious man-eater. The proximity of much of its habitat to people means run-ins are frequent. And its virtually indiscriminate diet means a villager washing clothes by a riverbank might look just as tasty as a migrating wildebeest. Firm numbers are sketchy, but estimates are that up to 200 people may die each year in the jaws of a Nile croc. Africa's largest crocodilian, these primordial brutes reach a maximum size of about 20 feet (6 meters) and can weigh up to 1,650 pounds (730 kilograms). Average sizes, though, are more in the range of 16 feet (5 meters) and 500 pounds (225 kilograms). They live throughout sub-Saharan Africa, the Nile Basin, and Madagascar in rivers, fre...

Crocodile RETURNS the BODY Of Man In Berau River In Indonesia This is the astonishing moment a crocodile clutches a missing man in its jaws after a witch doctor claimed he summoned it to return the body. The missing man, identified as Syarifuddin, was bathing in a river with friends when the beast pounced and dragged him beneath the water in Berau, Indonesia, on Tuesday at 6.20pm. Desperate relatives reportedly searched in vain for him and it was assumed that he had been taken into the depths of the Lempake River when police failed to find him. Villagers contacted a local black magic wizard who specialises in 'crocodile witch craft' and it's claimed they cast a spell for Syarifuddin to be brought back alive. Incredibly, his body is said to have emerged yesterday morning.
An amazing drone video has emerged from Australia of a huge crocodile feasting on a cow it dragged off a river bank. The footage, which was filmed on The Kimberley, Western Australia on July 21, shows the 5-6 metre reptile swimming with the fully grown cow between its jaws. "We followed him with the drone as it dragged the cow down river. It eventually got fed up with the drone buzzing over him and tried to pull the cow underwater," the filmer wrote online. GABORONE, BOTSWANA — A couple of male African lions crossing a river in Botswana got a deadly surprise when they came under attack by one of the nastiest predators around — a massive crocodile. Footage of the epic battle published on May 5 was captured by tourists on safari last month. The tourists were out by the Wilderness Safaris' King's Pool tracking two lion brothers trying to cross the Linyanti river, when they suddenly spotted a dangerous threat swimming across the pond. The enormous crocodile approached with speed, but the younger lion did not detect him. With the lions out of their element, the bloodthirsty crocodile unleashed a sneak attack. Refusing to watch his little brother be killed, the older lion swam in to fight. Trading places in the underwater ring of death, the o...

We just entered the Crocodile bridge gate at the Kruger National Park and found a lioness on the bridge acting strange. We had no idea of what was actually happening and were puzzled at the behavior of the lioness and couldn't believe it when she jumped into the river. We found out afterwards that her two cubs were swimming across the river to her and that she was trying to ward off a croc that was baring down on them. The moment the croc crabbed one of the little cubs I took my eye off the viewfinder to look at the splash in the water and unfortunately didn't follow her jumping in. If only we knew what actually happened we could've captured something spectacular! Sangam in Hindi mean a confluence of rivers. Allahabad in India has been epicenter of Hindu pilgrimage being second oldest city in the world where holy Ganges meet Yamuna and Saraswati rivers. The place is also referred as Prayag or the place of offering. Devotees from India and across the globe visit across year to take a holy dip in waters at the Sangam. This video show journey form Ghat (bank) to Sangam where one can easily differentiate between waters of Ganges (brownish) and Yamuna(Greenish). Saraswati is extinct now and said to flow underground. This is an accidental video where the boatmen (Ravi) share insights about life around Sangam. Cheers!!
